Farski Photography is Daniel Farr. An experimental photographer who uses a camera as a way to combine his love for art and music.
“Images can capture many things. A moment, an idea, an emotion. But can they capture a sound? A melody? A rhythym? Who is to say after all that the eye cannot hear?”
That is the philosophy of Farski Photography. A philosophy that has driven him from lens to lens from a young age. Inspired by the dark imagery of various rock, metal and atmospheric acts, he has never been one to shy from melancholy or despair. But don’t be fooled, his work is never superficial or mundane. Look a little deeper for the hidden beauty and light that lurks beneath the surface. Frequently travelling the desolate wasted countryside of Australia for a visual feast, Farski never fails to discover a dark foreboding story hidden amongst the landscapes or ruins that a lesser viewer would have sooner glossed over. This talent extends into the musical dimension, with every image connecting to a sonic idea that delves much deeper than just one of the senses and seeks to penetrate the essence of our very being.
